Joe Alwyn, Nick Robinson & More Star In Prada Fall 2018 Menswear Campaign
Earlier this week, Prada debuted actor Paul Dano as the celebrity face of the Prada Fall 2018 menswear campaign and the new “Prada Observia” 365 series. Now, the brand has unveiled even more images from their latest advertorial photo shoots with actors Joe Alwyn, Nick Robinson, and Algee Smith, who are all lending their incredible style sensibilities to this season.
“An imagined reality; the fantasy of the self. The next incarnation of 365, showcasing the Prada Fall-Winter 2018 menswear collection, considers these notions – of illusion and dreams, imagination and actuality,” the brand explained about the campaign on its website. “Embodied by a new wave of Hollywood talent, the men’s collection is brought to new life within the enclaves of the Prada Fall-Winter 2018 Men’s Show, a fantastical ‘Prada Warehouse’, a space that can be inhabited but is nevertheless a chimera, a mirage.”
In their campaign photos, Joe, Algee, and Nick all wear dizzying prints, retro-inspired bags, street style-ready sneakers, and trendy new pieces like Prada’s latest bucket hats. Together, these Hollywood stars make up a brilliant fashion series.

In addition to revealing all of this new campaign imagery, Prada has also dropped teaser videos featuring Nick Robinson and Algee Smith’s involvement in the season’s video series. Snippets of the actors’ surveillance-style film footage by Willy Vanderperre have been revealed on the label’s Instagram account. It’s quite a thrilling installment, as we see the actors being watched on warehouse security cameras – and you’re not exactly sure what they are up to.

Prada Donates 6 ICUs to Hospitals in Milan During COVID-19 Fight
Milan is undoubtedly one of the biggest fashion cities in the world, and the fashion industry is standing behind the northern Italian city as it battles a tremendous amount of COVID-19 cases. To alleviate some of the strain put on local hospitals during the rapid upswing in cases, Milan-based fashion house Prada has donated six intensive care units to three hospitals in town. Co-CEOs Patrizio Bertelli and Miuccia Prada joined a long list of influential fashion creators giving back in this coronavirus fight.
A simple statement from the famed fashion brand explained these two Prada leaders “have donated two complete intensive care and resuscitation units each to Milan’s hospitals of Vittore Buzzi [children’s hospital], Sacco and San Raffaele.” Prada had previously announced that its garment factory in Perugia would shift to immediate production of protective masks and medical overalls, which are in short supply internationally.
Many more Italian-based fashion brands have been stepping up to provide funds and resources aid to healthcare workers and citizens during the COVID-19 pandemic. To date, Giorgio Armani has donated more than $1.5 million to the cause, while Donatella Versace and her daughter Allegra have contributed another $220,000, among other generous efforts. Gucci has come forward to donate more than a million surgical masks to Italian healthcare workers, along with 55,000 medical overalls.
Additionally, beauty brands worldwide have been quickly shifting their production models to create emergency supplies of in-demand cleansers and sanitizers to distribute as needed. Luxury perfume and cosmetics house LVMH was one of the first brands to start creating hand sanitizer, joined by L’Oreal, Garnier, Guerlain, Skin Probiotics, and La Roche-Posay. These are just some of the critical ways these labels are making a difference in this pandemic.
Stay tuned for more updates on how COVID-19 is influencing the fashion and beauty industry, while those most affected also give back.

Ziad Nakad Presents Spring/Summer 2020 Collection at Couture Paris Fashion Week
The Ziad Nakad Spring/Summer 2020 collection, titled “Atlantis,” made its grand debut on the Couture Paris Fashion Week runways. Each sparkling and breathtaking gown in the SS20 range exhibits a fierce, warrior-inspired power alongside soft and fluid waterlike movement – perfectly shown during an under the sea-themed catwalk presentation in France.
“The idea of Atlantis — the ‘lost’ island subcontinent often idealized as an advanced, utopian society holding wisdom that could bring world peace — has captivated dreamers, occultists and New Agers for generations,” the brand shared in its runway show notes. “Ziad Nakad imagines, for his Spring Summer 2020 Couture collection, the Modern Day Warrior Princesse.”
“The celebration of fierceness, softness, determination, ingenuity and compassion that makes up the Modern Day Warrior Princess is electric and eclectic: tulle, silk and taffeta mixed with organza and chiffon emphasize the mermaid silhouettes,” Ziad Nakad shared. “The Modern Day Warrior Princesses have been able to play to the strength of being female, to celebrate their femininity, not to shy away from it or downplay it: crystals, beads, feathers, all handmade details, are underlining all shades of blue, water green, sun yellow, peach and gold. A hymn to sensuality, as fluid as the sea and as bright as the sun.”

Ziad Nakad Presents Orion Gown Range at Haute Couture Paris Fashion Week
If you love unmatched luxury in evening wear, the Ziad Nakad Spring/Summer 2019 is sure to delight you. The designer presented the “Orion” collection at Haute Couture Paris Fashion Week in France this season – and the range is filled with beautiful gowns that are as perfect for celebrity-studded red carpet events as they are for bridal looks and glamorous evening styles.
“From the Orion, Ziad Nakad picks a star after star and magically transforms it into an extravagant piece that brightens the starless nights with a gleaming silver and shimmering gold,” Ziad Nakad shared in a brand press release. “Just like a sky hunter, Ziad blends heavenly bodies motifs with star-shaped patterns and creates a constellation of dresses. Orion is a large hand that tosses diamond dust onto bare lands. Orion is a creative mind that scatters moondust and fills the sky with sparkling flickers. Orion simply dazzles.”
As part of the Orion collection, you will see a strong focus on pastel colors, with champagne, silver, and black added in to the mix. There is also a distinctly vintage theme running through the line, making many of the range’s pieces feel fit for royalty of ages past. With intricate stone beading and extravagant cuts, the collection is all about extravagance and drama.

What do you get when you combine powerful architectural shapes with more airy, romantic details? This luxurious catwalk! The Ziad Nakad Fall/Winter 2019 collection, titled “Tessera,” made its gorgeous runway debut during this season of Paris Haute Couture Fashion Week. The glamorous gown showcase – which includes several impeccably detailed couture wedding dresses – is all about bold silhouettes and sparkling details.
“Inspired by the ancient mosaic, Ziad Nakad’s Fall/Winter 2019/2020 couture collection is an ode to architecture and geometry,” the brand shared in a post-show press release. “Marked waists, oversized and asymmetrical sleeves are true technical features while giving an impression of lightness in resolutely feminine outfits.”
So where did the daring collection get its regal-sounding name, Tessera? The term is found within the collection’s art-meets-architecture inspiration.
“Silhouettes with embroidery embellishments like ‘tessellas’ and ‘tesserulas’ reveal an aerial mosaic,” the brand explained. “It is this alliteration assemblage that inspired the designer for the collection’s title. Always concerned regarding high quality, Ziad Nakad mingles tulles and chiffons, lace and velvet, giving his creations an architectural and modern dimension, always reminding us his mastery in cuts and volumes.”

Make Lipomassage Part Of Your Post-Lipo Recovery
It’s true. Endermologie’s innovative new Lipomassage treatments can be an effective substitute for liposuction surgery. The results might not be as immediate but you’ll avoid some pain and risk. If you’re considering liposuction but haven’t worked up the courage to go in for an actual treatment yet, press the pause button. Lipomassage might be the safe solution you’ve been waiting for. However, that’s not to say people who want to try liposuction surgery or have already gone under the needle sacrifice their chance to enjoy the therapeutic massages LPG therapy can offer. Lipomassage has been extremely effective as a post-lipo treatment to keep your cellulite patches from returning and soothe any scar tissue that might be left over as your incisions heal. Don’t miss out on this opportunity to enhance your weight loss experience and loosen up those stiff pockets of tension and fat across your body.
THE LIPOSUCTION PROCEDURE
Treating your persistent pockets of fat with surgery takes a few steps. Once you’re under general anesthesia, your trouble areas will be “tumesced” by injecting a wetting solution to numb your skin and decrease bleeding. These tiny incisions are then used to remove fat cells using a blunt-ended wand called a cannula. The surgeon will use a vacuum to suction out fat and then close the holes with a stitch.
You’re going to feel a little raw after intensive surgery. The stitched-up incisions can stay sore for up to 3 weeks. You shouldn’t undergo anything strenuous after your recovery, so Lipomassage is out of the question. Despite these guidelines, it’s worth planning for some follow-up treatments after the bruising goes down. Odds are, your liposuction surgery did not clear away all the pockets of fat and cellulite plaguing your sexy figure. There’s a limit to how many cells a surgeon can remove in one session. Endermologie is the perfect post-lipo treatment to keep you on track.
THE ISSUE OF CELLULITE
Liposuction procedures remove deep, localized fat to help re-contour your body. This has a noticeable effect on your appearance, but it won’t solve all your shaping issues. After one traditional lipo treatment, you’ll still be stuck with quite a bit of cellulite. Since most build-ups of this fatty material are close the skin’s surface, fixing it with a needle and vacuum isn’t the best option. Removing fat via surgery can result in loose skin and make what cellulite remains to be even more visible than it was originally.
ENDERMOLOGIE TO THE RESCUE
A Lipoemassage treatment can help issues like loose skin and lingering cellulite. Since Endermologie is a non-invasive treatment, it works more in harmony with your body when reducing fat. It’s a more natural approach. First invented as a therapeutic procedure for those suffering from bruises and scar tissue, LPG therapy will also ease whatever swelling remains after your surgery. It’s an incredible two-in-one tool that will speed up your recovery while continuing to sculpt your body on a consistent basis. Many plastic surgeons even recommend Endermologie to their patients in conjunction with liposuction to minimize post-lipo stiffness.
KEEPING UP THE HARD WORK
Like any other weight loss plan, maintaining a healthy consistency in treatment, diet, and exercise is crucial to keeping your cellulite and fat at a manageable level. If you don’t keep up with your treatments, your skin will return to the way it was before. If you’re not sure what treatment will best suit you and your situation, book an appointment with a trained LPG specialist. These therapists will talk with you and design a specific regimen catered to your post-lipo needs.
Don’t let liposuction stop you from enjoying the refreshing results of Lipomassage. It will pick up where your surgery left off. True weight loss doesn’t happen overnight, you know.
