During this Spring/Summer 2020 show season of Couture Paris Fashion Week in France, luxury Swiss watch designer Maurice Lacroix teamed up with a good friend and fellow designer, Strasbourg-based Adeline Ziliox, to present a new collection of some standout accessories. One newly-launched wristwatch style, the Masterpiece Embrace, features a blue aventurine dial, while another is composed of a striking white mother of pearl face. In addition, three versions of the Fiaba Moonphase watch style complemented Ziliox’s colorful runway looks, including a trendy two-toned design.
The show celebrated the commonality of fashion and watchmaking, blending the best of both worlds together in one seamless show.
“Thus each outfit featured embroidery that subtly designed emotional landscapes, but also plays on transparency to illustrate the rhythm of life,” the designer shared. “Thus, in an eighteenth-century-style decor of the private mansion Le Marois in Paris, each model walked on the catwalk dressed in theatrical outfits with novelties by Maurice Lacroix on its wrist.”
The latest wristwatch styles were created to give shoppers versatility, and the chance to showcase their personal style through their timepieces.
“A duo of novelties for a myriad of possibilities since through these two models, each woman will find the watch that reflects her personality,” the designer shared in a post-show notes recap via Stéphane Waser, Managing Director of Maurice Lacroix.
These accessories blend classic craftsmanship, innovation, and personality-driven fashion moments – the true future of fashion technology.
