Beauty Brand AERIN Collaborates with Fashion Designer Johanna Ortiz
If you love glamorous high-fashion moments and special edition makeup products, then you’re going to flip over the latest intersection of style and beauty. The newly-debuted AERIN x Johanna Ortiz collection combines bold, South American-inspired high-fashion prints with your go-to beauty essentials and delivers a trio of must-have lipstick colors and chic printed makeup pouches.
“My collaboration with the fashion designer Johanna Ortiz is a celebration of her native Colombia, with three limited-edition lipstick shades enhanced by vibrant packaging and printed beauty bags,” brand creator Aerin Lauder shared on her website about the launch.

The lip hues in this collaboration are striking and rich, but semi-sheer and made for layering. The lightly scented formulas are packed with ingredients like Vitamins C and E, Meadowfoam Seed Oil, and Magnolia Extract, which lead to a nourishing feel, and easy glide-on application.
Included in this range is a vibrant cherry red lipstick color called “Cali Aji,” which comes housed in a pale pink box adorned with a red beetle pattern.

Then there’s “Tayrona Nude Beach,” a classic antique rose nude shade packaged in a beachy peach and green botanical box. Finally, there is a striking orange color called “Cartagena Sunsets,” packaged in a lovely printed box featuring a tropical bird scene.
Each AERIN x Johanna Ortiz lipstick shade retails for $30 a tube.

Along with these three wear-everywhere lipsticks, the AERIN x Johanna Ortiz collection also consists of a range of delightfully whimsical beauty bags.
Shoppers can pick from small zip bag, medium-size makeup case, or a 3-piece trio of pouches in coordinating bird scene or bug print fabrics that mimic the makeup’s packaging. These bags retail in price from $70 to $125.
