Zendaya Is Named the New Celebrity Face of Lancôme
There is no denying that Zendaya‘s style-crossover career is on fire right now. Just days after unveiling her highly-anticipated fashion collection with Tommy Hilfiger, the Spider-Man: Far from Home and The Greatest Showman actress has revealed that she’s the newest celebrity face of Lancôme. Plus, the first-ever Zendaya Lancôme beauty campaign images have been revealed – and the spring-themed snaps are absolutely stunning.
Françoise Lehmann, the international president of L’Oréal-owned brand Lancôme, said that the 22-year-old starlet will bring a fresh and young perspective to the iconic label.
“Zendaya brings a youthful and a unique approach to beauty that perfectly complements Lancôme’s vision and creativity,” Lehmann said in an announcement statement.

Zendaya is thrilled to be part of this makeup family, and feels that the move is part of a new chapter in her life.
“It’s a huge honor to be able to represent a brand like Lancôme and join such an incredible line-up of iconic women,” the actress said in a press statement.
Now that she’s partnering with the legacy beauty brand, she joins the likes of all-star brand ambassadors like Julia Roberts, Kate Winslet, Taylor Hill, Isabella Rossellini, Lily Collins, Penelope Cruz, Lupita Nyong’o and more.
“I’m growing up and I feel like I’m coming into my adulthood and shifting into a new phase in my career and in my life,” Zendaya shared with WWD about her partnership. “It felt like that next step, that next elevated step.”

“Obviously, I love makeup. I love that world,” she added. “Some people who are in my profession, they don’t love it, but I really enjoy it because I always found makeup to be very therapeutic. I sometimes do my own makeup just before events just to calm down and chill. It’s kind of just my me time….I really enjoy it more as an art form. I’ve used [Lancôme’s] products for so long and it’s always been one of those staple brands of class and elegance, so it just felt like the right step.”
