In the Studio with Richard Magazine: Target’s Wild Fable Debut
Have you noticed that your local Target store’s fashion section has been looking very different lately? Recently, the popular retailer has been slowly rolling out a bunch exciting new in-house labels to replace or enhance some of its older lines. The trendy and affordable Wild Fable is just one of them. But style-wise, it is easily one of our team’s favorite collections from the retailer in years.
Wild Fable has garnered some online attention for quietly being the store’s most size-inclusive collections yet. It consists of a whole range of dresses, skirts, workout gear, suits, jeans, and more in women’s sizes 0-26, XS to 4X – and the sizes are all displayed together so you don’t have to go hopping between departments.
To top it off, the line carries a bunch of affordable purses, sunglasses, backpacks, and other easy-to-wear accessories. The prices are even better than stores like Forever 21, and the quality is way luxurious while the sizing is spot-on. We can’t wait to see more from this label!
The debut Wild Fable launch consists of 1990s- and early 2000s-inspired pieces that are extremely on-trend right now – which is probably why our editor Kristine came out of her local store with a huge clothing haul. We styled together a pre-fall look video made almost entirely of new finds from the line.
In our video, we are featuring the Wild Fable Violet Plaid Cropped Shirt Jacket ($30) and coordinating Violet Plaid Mini Skirt with Zippers ($20), styled with the Wild Fable Fuzzy Cropped Sweater Vest in Purple, ($15); the Wild Fable Black/White Striped High Neck Top ($10) paired with the Red Plaid Mid-Rise Skinny Jeans ($28); and the Wild Fable Green Camo Print Cargo Pants ($28). While filming this lookbook, Kristine was wearing the Wild Fable Black/Yellow Plaid Mid-Rise Skinny Jeans ($28).
