Watch the Vitruvius Fall 2019 Runway Show from New York Fashion Week – Exclusive
VITRUVIUS celebrated its latest runway show event during this February season of Nolcha Shows‘ New York Fashion Week productions. This Vitruvius Fall 2019 collection pairs vibrant neon street styles for men and women with office-ready coats and jackets and futuristic-inspired sportswear for an overall edgy, trendy vibe.
The Richard Magazine editorial team has covered and closely followed the fashion brand for several seasons now, and we are proud to share our latest round of exclusive runway photos and show video from this month’s inspiring NYFW presentation.
Vitruvius is a fashion collective an educational entity that is based in Vancouver, Canada. The brand is actually comprised of students going through conceptual and technical fashion training, and they presented a cohesive collection unified by electrifying colors and forward-thinking silhouettes. Here, the students are not only getting the chance to showcase their design sense and creativity, but they are learning what it takes to put together a complete, well-rounded runway production.
“New York Fashion Week will give them the opportunity to experience the hands-on element of preparing and testing material, the hard work of making their unique art-pieces and the wild rush of presenting on a public stage,” the brand has said about the work. “Our goal is to help our students improve artistically in both mind and technical skills, and this show will do both.”
This season, designers Calysta Chang, George Huang, Nicole Yau, and Mika Shimmura were featured.
We love this season’s ultra-wearable, yet boundary-pushing pieces.
