Tyler, the Creator and Converse Team Up for GOLF le FLEUR* Collaboration
Tyler, the Creator officially has a wildly wonderful new creation. The rapper and style mogul has once again teamed up with sneaker brand Converse. Together, they have created a second chapter in the colorful and decorative menswear collaboration called GOLF le FLEUR*. This means new shoes, new art, and new hype.
These newly released shoes come in three fashion-forward shades, including vivid “Jolly Green,” a bold yellow called “Solar Power,” and a sophisticated greige neutral named “Vanilla.” Each version is set to retail at $100 a pair. The key feature to these mens’ kicks is Tyler’s own signature flower print, which is emblazoned across the side of suede One Star low tops.
Tyler’s previous shoe designs featured a different floral design, as a stitched outline to Converse’s star logo. The past collection also showcased muted pastel shades. These electric hues and bold print offer up a completely different vibe, and collectors will want to check them out!
In addition to creating shoes for the brand, Tyler will also be dropping colorful hoodies bearing the “GOLF le FLEUR*” logo. More apparel items as part of a “Sherpa” collection — including t-shirts, hats, and bomber jackets — are also expected to be released soon. Since the idea for GOLF le FLEUR* comes from Tyler’s own Golf Wang collection, we can surely expect to see some true street style gems among this mix.
If this launch is anything like Tyler’s first Converse collection, you can expect it to sell out in the blink of an eye. Pro tip: be prepared for their November 2 release by pre-selecting your favorite items. (Shoppers in Seoul, South Korea get an early chance at the collection at Kasina on October 18.)
