Zendaya Is Creating a Capsule Clothing Collection with Tommy Hilfiger
If you love when the most stylish fashionistas around team up with top designers on clothing lines we can all actually shop, you’re going to be head-over-heels with the latest news. Hot off of the two-year, four-part Tommy x Gigi collaboration between Tommy Hilfiger and model Gigi Hadid, the fashion brand has announced their next clothing capsule will be created in partnership with Zendaya. Yep, get ready for Tommy x Zendaya.
The 22-year-old Spider-Man: Homecoming and The Greatest Showman actress and singer has collaborated closely on a Spring 2019 debut collection for the legendary label.
“I love to collaborate with people who are passionate about making their dreams a reality and who inspire the next generation to do the same,” designer Tommy Hilfiger said in a press release. “Zendaya has become a global icon, using fashion to make bold statements while always staying true to herself. Our capsule collection will fuse her eclectic style with the Americana spirit of our brand.”

“Her style is quite eclectic,” he added, via WWD. “It goes from casual to elegant and formal. She’s passionate about fashion. She loves getting really involved in the fabrics, the various colors and the drape of the garment. She’s a movie star, a musician, a great personality. She really is an advocate of women. She is youthful, she has great, casual style and when you see her on the red carpet, she is magnificent.”
Of course, Zendaya is thrilled to be joining the iconic label as Ambassador. Not only will she be featured in the brand’s global marketing campaigns and the accompanying runway shows in timing with the Spring 2019 season, but she has made sure to deliver a powerful fashion range.
“Fashion is more than just wearing cool clothes,” Zendaya said in a statement. “It’s a way to celebrate self-expression and individuality, which is extremely empowering. This is why I am proud to partner with Tommy Hilfiger.”
The star also took to her social media to share a colorful Tommy x Zendaya graphic – which we’re hoping is a festive preview of a colorful and inspired fashion collection!
