Kendall Jenner, Shawn Mendes & More Star In the Calvin Klein Spring 2019 Campaign
Rarely do fashion photo shoots earn as much buzz as the new Calvin Klein Spring 2019 campaign has been garnering! But once you take a look through the star-studded branded imagery for “Out Now,” the label’s debut digital-first campaign, you’ll certainly see what all the hype is about.
This season, the brand has enlisted singers, actors, and models like Kendall Jenner, Noah Centineo, Shawn Mendes, A$AP Rocky, Anna Ewers, Jasmine Daniels, Lulu Tenney, and more to star in CK images reminiscent of the label’s iconic 80s and 90s intimates imagery. You’ll spot those instantly-recognizable banded boxer briefs, classic sports bras, and cozy cotton logo tees.
Several of the Calvin Klein Spring 2019 campaign’s young celebrity participants were asked to share what the idea of “youth” means to them. Their candid responses make up the direction of the campaign ads.
“I think that youth, and this generation in general right now, are speaking so loudly, and people are listening more than ever,” 20-year-old singer Shawn Mendes said in his personal CK video ad. “And it’s incredible because they’re saying very, very important things and people are listening. I don’t think we’ve ever been louder as a younger generation – and in the best way.”
Rapper A$AP Rocky, 30, shared that he thinks that the idea of “youthfulness” is all part of a mindset.
“I think that youth can be the beginning stage of any part of life whether it’s a new career, a new chapter, a new album,” he explained for his video.
