Gabrielle Union, Kirsten Dunst & More Celebs Star In Rodarte’s Spring 2020 Lookbook
We’re going to go right ahead and say it: the Rodarte Spring 2020 collection is a total masterpiece, and the line’s corresponding lookbook is similarly an exciting work of art. Photographed by Daria Kobayashi Ritch, the colorful imagery brings to life the latest regal and retro-inspired line by sister design duo Kate and Laura Mulleavy.
“As we’ve become more confident and comfortable in our design voice and really seeing what our personality is within the design world, it’s been really nice to think artistically about creating a world behind each collection,” Laura told Vogue about displaying the looks in muse portraits rather than a runway show.
“We wanted to create painted portraits,” she added. “In the end the images have that quality, not knowing whether or not someone has been painted or photographed.”


The star-studded lookbook features several celebrity models, including actresses, fashionistas, and singers like Kirsten Dunst, Helena Howard, Gabrielle Union, Margaret Qualley, Rowan Blanchard, Kiernan Shipka, January Jones, Lili Reinhart, Kilo Kish, Este Haim, Danielle Haim, Alana Haim, Gia Coppola, Maggie Rogers, Lauren Tsai, King Princess, Alexa Demie, Yalitza Aparicio, Phoebe Bridgers, and Maya Erksine.
Princess-worthy gowns are dotted with pearls, and accessorized with even more of the classic treasure. Flowing tulle, gauzy gloves, cascading earrings, and exquisite dress necklines all feature this signature shimmer.
