See Highlights from the Reem Acra Bridal Runway Show at Spring 2019 Bridal Fashion Week
The Reem Acra Bridal Spring 2019 collection has made its debut at New York Bridal Fashion Week, and this presentatuib is full of moments. “The Prophet Collection” runway show all went down in front of an enchanted crowd at the New York Public Library on April 12 in NYC – but we’re recapping the highlights for you below.
From delicate lace detailing to classically elegant embroidery and floral printed fabrics, this line flawlessly blends traditional elements into modern and fashion-forward gowns. Reem Acra is known for polishing garments off with floral appliqués and princess-level tulle – and this whimsical collection has a plentiful abundance of those elements.
Each runway look was styled with floral headpieces, wrist corsages, and coordinating lace veils that added a romantic touch to the chic gowns. Many models also held bouquets full of colorful blooms and natural branches as they presented the garments, bringing a touch of bohemian charm to the production.
Standout gowns in the collection include a ballgown with a fringe-tulle skirt, a gauzy sheer-toned gown with a shimmering neckline, long sleeved lace bodies, and satin skirts printed with soft floral patterns that catch the light as you walk. With dress names like “Dance of Heavens,” “Fountain of Life,” “Flock of Angels,” and “Breath of Life,” you can really feel the enchanting inspiration behind each dress.
