Nick Jonas Designs a Menswear Capsule Collection for John Varvatos
You may know Nick Jonas best as a singer, performer, and former member of the Jonas Brothers. But now he is getting involved in the men’s fashion world in a big new way. He has collaborated with contemporary menswear John Varvatos – and even designed his own must-have wardrobe essentials.
Nick has created a limited-edition capsule collection called JV x NJ for the brand, which has debuted just in time for the spring. When the line launches, the star will also take over as the official celebrity ambassador to the company.

“This collaboration is unique to us,” John Varvatos said about working with Nick. “We’ve never done another collaboration with any artist, any individual, on the product, the design, the aesthetic of the brand. I look forward to doing many more things with Nick in the future.”
“I think that the common thread for both of us was our love of both music and fashion, how they really inform each other and how they’ve done so for many, many years,” Nick added.

Nick Jonas may be a New Jersey native, but he paid tribute to the city of Detroit – “a great American city and the origin of John’s brand” –through his series of designs.
“This was a cool opportunity to embrace Detroit as a whole,” Nick shared with WWD. “I’ve had the chance to play some really iconic music venues there and I love the city, I love the people, and so we thought, let’s take a great American city and show some love, pay respect to so many musical icons and just great men and women that have come out of there. But I fully intend on doing a Jersey piece at some point, too.”
