MAC Cosmetics Announces a Collaboration with Puma
If we had to ask you to name a couple of brands who consistently deliver incredible collaborations, which would come to mind? Would it be MAC Cosmetics – a beauty brand that’s all about clever and boundary-pushing collections. How about Puma, whose sporty styles have come to life in new ways through collaborations with celebs like Rihanna, The Weeknd, and Selena Gomez? Now what if we told you that those exact two labels are teaming up for a special mystery product? That’s right – get ready for a MAC Puma collaboration of your wildest dreams!
MAC Cosmetics shared a teaser video on Instagram that reveals a partnership with Puma Sport Style is coming in 2018.
From this clip, it is unclear whether MAC will be designing color cosmetics inspired by Puma shoes, or if Puma will be creating makeup-printed sneakers and athletic gear.
Like most fans, we are left with a lot of questions. Rihanna is currently serving as the Creative Director for Puma’s women’s brands, so will it have anything to do with her own hugely-successful Fenty Beauty range? Will we soon be able to rock kicks that perfectly match our lipstick shade? Perhaps the launch will be some combination of all of the above!
While this news is thrilling, it is not the only exciting upcoming MAC or Puma launch of 2018! In Summer 2018, MAC is set to drop the fan-requested Aaliyah tribute collection, celebrating the late icon’s signature style. Puma’s own 2018 offerings will include more hits from Fenty x Puma, plus campaigns with more celebrity spokesmodels. Clearly, athleisure and star-inspired fashion are going to continue to be the hottest trend inspirations around going into the new year.
