MAC Cosmetics Teams Up with The Blonds for a Stylish Collection
You may know fashion brand The Blonds best for their fabulously over-the-top garments and lavish productions. Now, Phillipe and David Blond, the makeup artists-turned-design duo behind the luxury label, are bringing their signature glitz and glamour to a MAC Cosmetics x The Blonds beauty collaboration called “Bombshell Essentials.”
This gender neutral product range is set to launch on September 6, with the products debuting during The Blonds’ New York Fashion Week runway show. If you’ve been keeping up with the latest news from the brand, you will recall that this season’s show will feature designs inspired by iconic Disney villains! Plus, the designers describe the makeup vibes as “dazzle meets couture meets…even more dazzle!” So you can expect these looks to make a memorable entrance.
“It’s all about sparkle, it’s all about making the skin glisten, it’s about it being for everyone, it’s genderless,” designer and co-founder David Blond told WWD in an interview. “We wanted it to be something that would be easily incorporated into everyone’s collection of makeup.”

The products making up this MAC Cosmetics The Blonds collection include two lipsticks (called David Blond and Philippe Blond, $20 each), the Boot Black Liquid Eyeliner ($21), two Dazzleglass Lip Glosses (name Fifi The Blond and Bijou X Blond, $20 each), the Magic Dust Powder in a studded compact case ($42), a Powder Brush ($42), and the luxuriously glam Blond Diamond studded false lashes ($18).
