Gemma Hoi
Gemma Hoi was born in Macau, China. She started learning about fine arts at the age of 12 and became a fashion designer at the age of 18. While studying at Parsons Design School in New York, she worked for labels such as Isaac Mizrahi, Phillip Lim, and Marchesa. After winning many awards in the fashion industry, she presented her first exhibition at the World Trade Center. Then created her own design label in New York City and Shanghai, China in 2017.

Gemma Hoi’s design aesthetic is to combine couture element into her ready-to-wear designs. She believes that the beauty of couture should be accessible to everyone. She calls it “Street Couture.”
