Fendi Debuts Italian Futurism-Inspired Spring/Summer 2018 Campaign
The Fendi Spring/Summer 2018 collection campaign starring models Vittoria Ceretti and Taylor Hill has officially been unveiled, and it is an eye-catching showcase of the season’s latest garments, accessories, and leather goods. Photographed by Karl Lagerfeld, the creative looks in the glamorous photo series are framed by futuristic scenery.
“In a swirl of Caribbean color and flavor, the tropical feeling of the Collection, merged with Italian Futurism, comes to life in a graphic oval set,” the brand shared about their latest campaign, which showcases the latest stripes, logo prints, and sleek handbags. These are the exact looks we would like to wear all spring into summer long!
This campaign inspiration was apparent throughout the Fendi runway showing as well. “Italian Futurism meets seaside cool in a collection that moves from sheer, transparent fabrics to more structured lines, embellished with summer’s signature details,” the designer said about the luxurious collection. “Diaphanous materials in tropical hues meet symmetrical stripes, checkerboard patterns, and surprising silhouettes. Sequins shimmer like the sea, while botanical accents from florals to palms add that island feel.”
