The Fendi Spring 2018 Menswear Campaign Pays Tribute To Retro Office Styles
Is your workwear feeling tired? The new Fendi Spring 2018 menswear campaign is looking to brighten up your office ensembles in a fun new way. Essentially, the designer wants your clothes to give you that “just left the office on a Friday afternoon!” all week long. Which is why the latest advertorial takes you from your cubicle to the beach!
It can often feel like your go-to dress shirts and classic trousers have been in your office wardrobe since the beginning of your career. And have you ever updated your favorite briefcase? Playing off of that idea, Fendi’s campaign juxtaposes Silvia Venturini Fendi‘s fresh and modern garments against a retro backdrop of the quintessential ’80s or ’90s office space.
While we are used to seeing our favorite designer brands highlight the latest and greatest in technology with their new releases, this Fendi campaign actually returns to the past. In the nostalgic photo series, outdated personal computers, oversized cell phones, and vintage landlines are all featured in this whimsical (and unconventional!) setting.
“The casual and corporate worlds come to life as the young businessman of today flawlessly moves from a real office to a dreamlike office-holiday,” Fendi shared on the brand’s website.
