The Emilia Wickstead Pre-Fall 2019 Collection Is All About Powerful Femininity
What do you get when you combine gauzy veils, bright and cheery polka dots, smart pleats, and retro silhouettes? The Emilia Wickstead Pre-Fall 2019 collection, which is a fairy tale dream come to life.
New Zealand-born, London-based designer Emilia Wickstead has created a new collection of feminist-inspired garments that combine romantic florals and whimsical fabrics like tulle and chiffon.
Rose prints, 70s-inspired pastels, pussy bow blouses, and more vintage looks are at the forefront of this range, along with wearable maxi dresses and stylish suit separates.
This Pre-Fall 2019 line was inspired by the work of Fleur Cowles, the American artist and editor of Flair magazine, and women finding empowerment through keeping their femininity on display. In keeping with the theme, the looks in Emilia Wickstead’s newly-released lookbook embody both powerful strength and dreamy fantasy.
