Dolce & Gabbana Debuts Elaborate Fall 2018 Shows During Milan Fashion Week
The Dolce & Gabbana Fall 2018 runways were an action-packed weekend event during Milan Fashion Week. The designer label presented the season’s latest luxury womenswear designs in a series of shows in the Italian city – one more glamorous than the next – titled Women’s FW2018/2019, Secrets & Diamonds and All the Lovers.
Each runway was filled with playful prints, colorful accessories, and clever inspirations – and we can expect nothing less from the brand. This season was filled with religious symbolism and Catholic Church-themed detailing. While the brand has previously shown icon-inspired works, this season is particularly noteworthy going in to the 2018 Met Gala theme: Heavenly Bodies: Fashion and the Catholic Imagination.
In addition to the brand’s popular #DGMillennials models like Hailey Baldwin and Lady Kitty Spencer another buzzworthy show-stopper was sent down the runway: drones! The latest D&G “Devotion” line of leather handbags were showcased in the women’s show hanging from show-opening flying drones Talk about a futuristic detail bringing the catwalk into the future.
