Becky G Launches ColourPop Makeup Collaboration, “Salvaje”
You may know Becky G best as a singer, actress, and total fashionista. Plus, she’s established herself as quite the beauty guru, signing her long-term CoverGirl contract back in 2013 – when she was just 16 years old. Now, the 21-year-old star has taken her makeup know-how to the next level, by launching her first-ever ColourPop Cosmetics product collaboration. The Becky G ColourPop range is called “Salvaje,” – which mean “savage” in Spanish – and ties into the artist’s Mexican roots at every turn.
The entire Becky G ColourPop collection consists of a colorful 12-pan eyeshadow palette ($16), two highlighters ($7 each), and five beautiful lip colors ($6.50 each).
Her Liquid Lipsticks are available in shades Chola (Ultra Satin), Mija (Ultra Satin), Besame (Ultra Matte), Flor (Ultra Matte), and Secreto (Ultra Matte). The Luster Dust Highlighters are available in shades Princesa and Chisme. All of the Pressed Powder Palette’s eyeshadows have similarly fun and festive shade names: Luna, Cafecito, Estrella, Celosa, Malbec, Sirena, Sangria, Carmelo, Corona, Vibra, Estrella, Patrona, and Lola.


The artist has a fabulous wardrobe of makeup items she loves to wear – onstage and off – and this line is a great reflection of her personal style.
“All of this makeup is something I could literally wear everyday,” Becky explained about her collection on her Instagram. “The collection is inspired by my strong Latin roots, something I’m obviously SO proud of and I absolutely wanted to focus on that for this collection.”
Becky G is also proud to be making a bit of history with this makeup line.
“This is the first time EVER that ColourPop Cosmetics is doing a collaboration with a music artist,” she added.
