Alexander McQueen Unveils the Pre-Spring/Summer 2018 Collection
Opulent embellishments, intricate embroidery, and edgy cut-out detailing defines the Pre-Spring/Summer 2018 collection from Alexander McQueen. The design house’s latest round of whimsical styles has been unveiled, and we are blown away by this season’s beautiful inspiration.
“English country gardens, dappled with sunlight and drenched with rain; deconstructed couture, weathered with age and family heirlooms inspire the Pre Spring/Summer 2018 collection,” the brand shared on their website. “Explore lingerie-inspired knits, handwoven tweeds and pressed flower and petal print silks.”
The brand’s latest accessories – including statement necklaces, clutch bags, and studded strappy heels – all feature sparkling gem detailing that will make your eyes twinkle.
Fiery red, black, and yellow gold are standout features of Alexander McQueen’s new crop of accessories. Of course, you can expect the brand’s signature edginess in every piece. But this inspired color palette also translates into the season’s clothing designs.
We particularly love the pieces that combine frilly elements with raw edges and expertly-draped silhouettes.
Many pieces from the Pre-SS18 collection are currently available for pre-sale on the Alexander McQueen website. Make sure to pre-order if you see something you love!
