See the Enchanting Alexander McQueen Spring/Summer 2018 Campaign
Be warned: the new campaign images from the Alexander McQueen Spring/Summer 2018 collection are about to take your breath away. Starring model Shanelle Nyasiase, the designer label’s latest photographs showcase the season’s crop of vibrant red dresses, flowing gowns, and powerful silhouettes in their full glory.
There is an intentional reason why you may feel a celebratory radiance as you take in these campaign images.
“So many terrible things happen in the world. We should celebrate people and fashion and creativity,” designer Sarah Burton previously told WWD about the Alexander McQueen Spring/Summer 2018 collection. “I wanted to celebrate beauty and femininity. I wanted to do an uplifting collection.”
The exciting floral inspiration behind this season’s designs is apparent, and we are thrilled to see this transfer over into a campaign filled with lush greenery. When the brand sent models down the runway at their October showing at SS ’18 Paris Fashion Week, Burton marveled that “some of the women are almost like flowers themselves.”
