Rowan Blanchard, Kirsten Dunst & More Celebs Star In Rodarte’s Fall 2018 Ready-to-Wear Lookbook
Rodarte is a popular fashion brand beloved by celebrities of all ages and claims to fame. So it’s no surprise that for the brand’s Fall 2018 Ready-to-Wear lookbook, tons of stars were called upon to model the label’s latest daring designs. Instead of a runway presentation this season, designers Kate and Laura Mulleavy decided to channel their energy into a vintage Hollywood photo series that shows off the collection.
“We’re kind of now more freeing ourselves from what are the traditional ways that you can show and experience the emotion of a collection,” Kate Mulleavy shared about Rodarte’s latest showings.
Kirsten Dunst, Rowan Blanchard, Kim Gordon, Chloe x Halle, Grimes, Gia Coppola, Miranda July and Ava Phillippe were among the stylish stars featured in this stunning imagery. They simultaneously channeled Old Hollywood glamour and chic Parisian flair with their portraits, styled in elaborate headpieces and frilly ruffled gowns, with dainty lace umbrellas close at hand.
“We are thrilled to feature women who inspire us in our fall winter 2018 portrait series,” the designers shared about this work in a press release.
“It’s an important time for people to recognize that women are artistic, and that’s what I think these images reflect in all the different personalities,” Laura Mulleavy added about the style and casting choices.
This certainly is an inspiring – and overwhelmingly creative! – showcase. Now we will just have to count down the seconds until these whimsical creations are shoppable – and inevitably end up being celebs’ red carpet outfit picks for major events.
