Tarte Releases the Dazzling Be A Mermaid Eyeshadow Palette
We would be hardcore lying if we said we didn’t envy the effortlessly dazzling makeup of mermaids. They live entirely underwater, yet they are always radiant and glowing – with colorful makeup that doesn’t seem to budge. How do they do it? (Besides the magical, mythical help.) Well, it seems like the Tarte Mermaid palette would get us as close to the sea creatures’ styles as possible.
Tarte Cosmetics just revealed its Be A Mermaid & Make Waves Eyeshadow Palette – which is full of fourteen matte and metallic eyeshadow shades to help you craft the mystical eye looks of your dreams. Housed inside an iridescent blue clamshell case, of course.
“Create looks fit for a sea siren with these glimmering neutrals, jewel tones, and aquatic hues in matte and metallic formulas,” Sephora shared about this launch. “With Amazonian clay and mineral pigments, the creamy powder formulas blend beautifully, while balancing skin on lids to prevent pigment from creasing or fading.”

The shades in this collection are adorably called Nude Beach, Shore Thing, Frosé, Beach Please, Mermosa, Cavern, Fin-tastic, Sandbar, Salt Water, Shipwreck, Shell Yea, Bubbles, Splash, and Lagoon. They’re highly pigmented, and don’t sacrifice on the shine. Just like we like it.
For a limited time, this palette will be exclusive to Sephora, selling for $42. Then, the palette will drop on the brand’s direct website and in other retail stores – just in time for creating your go-to summer looks.
