Supin Debuts Fall 2019 Men’s Collection at New York Fashion Week – Exclusive
The Supin Fall 2019 runway show presented eye-catching men’s streetwear during this February season of New York Fashion Week. The show, produced in Manhattan by Nolcha Shows, featured a range of key street style wardrobe essentials by the trend-forward label’s designer Guan Qi.
Bold, bright colors and shiny, reflective materials comprised the outerwear-centric line of windbreakers, zip-up jackets, track suits, creative hoodies, wearable denim, and graphic-printed t-shirts.
The Supin label was founded in 2015 as a way to showcase “handsome, fashionable, youthful, original design,” according to the brand.
“This season’s clothing is inspired by the ancient Chinese characters dating back more than 3,000 years,” the designer shared with Nolcha shows. “The design style follows the consistent Chinese minimalism. The details are boldly blending Chinese ancient characters with the current world trend elements, conveying the profound Chinese culture to the world in this way. The foundation emphasizes the balance between design and life.”
“Supin advocates plain aesthetics, and aesthetics is the cultural root of the brand, and is an important basis for brand style and product development,” the designer added. “On the basis of the aesthetics of plain and light, all products, space and service experience are maximized by personalization. The plain and personality are an important part of the success of the ‘Supin,’ and are indispensable.”
