PONY x MAC Cosmetics Team Up on Tarot-Inspired Collection
Celebrity makeup artist and beauty mogul Park Hye-Min – more familiarly known as PONY – has officially teamed up with MAC Cosmetics on a special makeup collaboration for fall. The colorful products and celestial packaging for the PONY x MAC collection are all inspired by tarot cards and crystals, featuring mystical shimmers and dream-like moon designs.
The South Korean star, who boasts over 6 million Instagram followers and 5 million YouTube subscribers, is bringing her K-beauty expertise to a cosmetics range that includes a lip-plumping gloss, two glowy highlighters, an eight-shade warm neutrals eyeshadow palette, two makeup brushes, glam false lashes, and a special pearl shimmer edition of the brand’s popular Prep + Prime Fix + Face Mist.


“My collection with MAC is super meaningful to me in that I am able to bring K-beauty, Korean culture, Asian beauty and culture to the global market,” PONY shared with Hypebae. “I’ve been showing various looks on my social networks and videos for years and through this collaboration with MAC, I’m able to bring the actual experience to the global consumers so they can experience my vision directly and hands-on as they try the products.”
PONY also helped develop a brand new product for MAC, called Matte Lip Mousse, which will debut with nine different shades. In a press release, the brand described this dreamy new lip product, which is set to retail for $20, as “an ethereally weightless formula that glides on evenly for misty soft-matte color.” We’re most looking forward to testing this one out ourselves!
The full PONY x MAC range is set to drop at Nordstrom on September 21, online and in all MAC stores on September 23, and globally later in October.
