Jason Wu Designs Furniture Line with Interior Define
You may know Jason Wu best as the fashion designer behind your dream wardrobe. Or perhaps you are hooked on his instantly-iconic fragrance launch, which continues to be a major influence in the beauty industry. But now, the acclaimed designer is officially making his mark on the home decor space through his newly-launched Jason Wu Interior Define furniture collection.
The designer has created a reasonably-priced, mid-century modern furniture range that includes a sofa, love seat, ottoman, and accent chair. The pieces are intended to “reinvent the iconic exposed wood frame sofa to stand the test of time,” the brand explained on its website.
Wu styled all of the pieces by picking out his favorite fabrics and finishes, which are nearly endlessly customizable. All of the options suit a chic and stylish customer who wants to fill her rooms with products as luxurious as the ones in her closet.
“When I design, it’s one philosophy: offering things that are timeless,” Wu said in a brand statement. “I wanted to reference one of my favorite eras, which is the 40s and 50s, but with a modern spin. I wanted to create a new classic.”
The designer is excited to have this new avenue to reach design-savvy customers, and deliver his signature quality and sophistication.
“Interior Define’s customization concept was really interesting to me,” the designer told Elle Decor. “I loved the idea of creating something beautiful and then letting people add their personal touch. There isn’t much in the market that is affordable for people in my age group—especially young professionals who care about design but also want something that will last. A new classic, if you will—pieces that aren’t disposable and have a sense of quality and style.”
You can shop pieces from this furniture range now on the brand’s website.
