You Can Now Shop Marc Jacobs and Anna Sui’s Whimsical Design Collaboration
When longtime friends and fellow fashion designers Marc Jacobs and Anna Sui first announced that they were teaming up on an accessories collaboration, we thought we couldn’t be more thrilled. But now, the day to officially shop their limited edition creations is finally here, and we are somehow even more excited about it!
“Years in the making, this one-of-a-kind capsule collection is the meeting of two genius minds,” the brands announced on their social media accounts. “Genius” is the perfect word for these shoppable new treats.
The collection is filled with colorful graphic handbags, camera bags, printed tees and sweatshirts, fun cartoon-style keychains, and even a pair of slip-on shoes with artfully designed drawings decorating the canvas. The whole capsule ranges in price from $65 to $395 apiece, and it is full of whimsy and charm that perfectly captures and blends both designers’ brand aesthetics and creativity.
“Marc and I have been good friends for a very long time. I can’t believe it has taken us this long to collaborate. It was so much fun working on a project together,” Anna Sui shared about working together on this collection.
“It’s a fun project that celebrates our dear friendship,” Marc Jacobs added.
Not only do these pieces feature a little bit of themselves in every detail, but Marc Jacobs and Anna Sui’s new pieces also prominently feature fun illustrations by the artist Will Broome. For this launch, he has created new illustrated pop art-style character designs that include special Miss and Mister Marc cartoons. They playfully represent Anna and Marc themselves – and even Marc’s beloved dog Neville. Talk about a signature touch!
You can shop your favorite pieces on the Marc Jacobs website now, and in select stores.
