Alice + Olivia Pays Tribute to The Beatles with the “Come Together” Collection
While it may be hard for listeners to pick a favorite Beatles song, most fans can narrow down their choices to a favorite album at least. But whether you are more “Abbey Road” or “Yellow Submarine,” all music-savvy fashionistas are going to love Alice + Olivia’s new fashion “collaboration” with The Beatles. The fashion brand is releasing an official 15-piece line inspired by the iconic band in timing with the November 25 broadcast premiere of the award-winning Beatles documentary, The Beatles: Eight Days a Week — The Touring Years.
In an effort to unify people around the globe and pay homage to The Beatles’ legacy, the brand decided to title the collection “Come Together.”
“It is truly a moment in time when the world needs to ‘come together,’” designer Stacey Bendet said. “The Beatles songs, their lyrics, their messaging is so right right now and their music has always inspired me, so it has been an honor to do this collaboration!”
If you want to go all out with your love for the band, the collection features colorful, cheery prints and mod designs that look like they stepped right out of the 1960s and 70s – in the best way possible, of course. John, Ringo, Paul, and Georg’s faces are given the pop art treatment for one shift dress, and their album art is commemorated on another. For a more subtle style tribute, consider rocking a band logo jacket, or slogan tee featuring the lyrics that speak to you.
We particularly love the chic and sparkly clutch handbags that are inspired by The Beatles’ legendary song lyrics like “Here comes the sun,” and “All you need is love.”
The AO x The Beatles Collection is now available for pre-order via Alice + Olivia’s page. The offerings currently range in price from tees at $195 to the embellished gown skirt at $1,295.
