ACID NYC Shows Fall 2019 “Architectura” Collection at New York Fashion Week – Exclusive Video
The ACID NYC fashion brand is known for its playful use of prints and its whimsical blend of unique design inspirations. This February season of New York Fashion Week, the city-based label presented its Fall 2019 collection, titled “Architectura,” which designers Evelyn Luna and Scott Chester say celebrates “the beauty and structure of urban architecture.” The Richard Magazine editorial team was at the show to take in the newest designs firsthand – and bring you exclusive photos and videos straight from the runway.
The silhouettes of the industrial city inspired a well-rounded collection of slinky printed dresses, men’s button-down shirts, chic blouses, and statement tote bags. The endless, dizzying array of glass and metal skyscraper windows served as the graphic geometrical print on some of the line’s most memorable pieces.
This season, ACID NYC also showcased a beautiful selection of jackets, including sporty zip-up styles and artistic, over-the-top felt styles pieced together with edgy metal rings. Show-stopping moments came when elaborate, boxy, and oversized blazers walked the runway – they are truly sculptural works of art.
