Abineri Ang Presents School Showcase at Jakarta Fashion Week 2020
The Abineri Ang Fashion School presented a runway show full of beautiful student work during this season of Jakarta Fashion Week 2020. The Spring/Summer 2020 season’s show, titled “The Last Eve,” took place in Senayan City, Jakarta, Indonesia on October 27, 2019, and featured the work of the talented designers Andreas Lim, Juwita Heraris, Maria Angelita, My Audi, Sylvia Chan, and Windia Wijaya.
In 2000, fashion designer Abineri Ang first opened his design school, called Abineri Ang et Createur Atelier de Mode. The goal was to educate a whole new generation of creatives, and bring out their style and garment construction talents.
“The fashion school exists to provide direct training for students who want to become fashion designers; a response to the challenges from society and the Indonesian fashion industry that requires skilled workers and professionals in the field,” according to the official Jakarta Fashion Week website.
The 2020 season ahead looks exceptionally promising, and shows how the school has evolved over the past two decades. Elegant evening gowns and stunning bridal dresses were part of this captivating designer workshop presentation, which focused on creative silhouettes and opulent specialty accessories.
