Everything’s Coming Up Florals In the Carolina Herrera Pre-Fall 2018 Collection

The designer is continuing the bold and colorful designs from her Spring 2018 line into the following season, which is filled with happy and mood-enhancing garments. That’s because, as the designer herself noted, “This is a happy house.”
Each piece in this season’s lookbook was created for the modern woman who can make any event into a spectacular Occasion just from her elevated way of dressing.
You may notice an abundance of florals in this collection, but they are not your typical patterns. Carolina Herrera reportedly drew inspiration from historical Flemish flower paintings for this line. She has featured breathtaking lilies, dahlias, and more art on her most whimsical pieces.
Flowers are incorporated into the collection in more than just the fabrics, too. You’ll find nature-inspired embroidery, careful stitch work, and other embellishments all throughout the label’s latest lookbook.
