Anya Hindmarch Unveils Bags That Work Collection
Anya Hindmarch bags are known for combining quirky details with classic, wearable shapes – and now, these accessories are becoming even more functional. The designer has unveiled the new “Bags That Work” collection, which is all about purses that go the extra mile to make your life a little easier. And honestly, who doesn’t need some of that.
The handbags in this range were created for women on the go, who are always traveling, commuting, and juggling a bunch of responsibilities. That’s why the special pockets are great for storing passports, train tickets, bus passes, e-readers, and more of those everyday essentials that definitely don’t belong stuck at the depths of your tote. Some options even allow electronic devices to be stored upright.
We love that the designer is taking a changing lifestyle – that’s typical to most of us out there! – and putting her signature touch on things. Mostly because “practical” pieces shouldn’t mean stuffy, bland, boring, or too utilitarian.
“I love things that work — and deliver — and I find organization deeply exciting,” the designer shared about the line, via WWD. “Sometimes we want our bags to be a fashion statement, at other times we need them to just really work. It’s all about function, craftsmanship and a sense of humor.”
None of the label’s famous wit and whimsy is missing through these designs.
As with any Anya Hindmarch bags, you can best customize your carry-all by clipping on some cute and clever keychains and other eclectic accessories. The label boasts puffy rainbows, fuzzy fruits, magical star charms, and tons more precious add-ons.
These Anya Hindmarch bags and more will soon be available in-store and online at the designer’s own boutiques and select retailers like Nordstrom, Matches Fashion, Selfridges, Bergdorf Goodman, and more. Prices for this collection range from $950 to $1,495.
