Versace Debuts Reflections of Holidays Home Collection
Fashionable home accents meet fine dining with the Versace Holiday 2018 home accessories collection. Titled “Reflections of Holidays,” the newly-debuted decor line features fine china plates, platters, mugs, bowls, and more in distinct fashion prints. The designer label teamed up with their longtime collaborator of over 25 years, luxury German porcelain manufacturer Rosenthal, to create this opulent range – which also includes some beautiful collector’s edition Christmas tree ornaments.
Versace calls this statement-making new home decor range “a joyful mix of warm colors and holiday spirit.” The boldly-patterned plates are perfect for sprucing up your kitchen and dining room table settings for when you have guests over this winter.
This “collection of porcelain dinnerware, tea and coffee sets and home décor epitomizes the best place to be for the holidays – your own home,” according to the Versace brand.
Rosenthal echoes the sentiment that there’s nowhere better than home for the holidays.
“The ‘Reflections of Holidays’ Christmas collection is joyful and featured those Baroque elements that are unmistakably Versace,” the brand shared on its website. “A large, red ribbon brings together pink, blue and violet ornaments in a unity that epitomizes the best place to be at Christmas time: one’s own home.”
The holiday season is all about memorable surprises – and you can expect the same from these whimsical decor pieces. On the bottom of each lavish plate, you will find an inscription of words, “Home for the holidays – where all your wishes come true.” How lovely is that?

The new line will have you dreaming about re-decorating your living room, office, library room, and more in the Versace family’s signature style.
“From the very beginning, the creative universe of Versace has always encompassed many disciplines, not just fashion, but design in the broadest sense and the essential art of living,” the brand shared on its website. “Versace Home was a natural extension of this interest, created in 1992 initially as a collection of textiles for the home, and soon followed by the first landmark ranges of porcelain dinner sets, home furniture and interior design projects.”
Versace calls its latest crop of “Milanese in spirit” 2018 home designs – unveiled for Salone Internazionale Del Mobile (the Milan Furniture Fair in Italy) – “a celebration of family; a collection inspired by the legendary Versace Home on Via Gesù in Milan; a contemporary approach with classic details.”
And that it is. Featuring a selection of dining chairs, stools, and desk chairs, plus a statement gold coffee table and a Baroque-style printed couch, this collection honors the brand’s rich heritage while modernizing the aesthetic for current and fashion-forward shoppers. Richard Magazine’s Valentine’s Day Guide to Lingerie
Valentine’s Day lingerie can be expensive. The lingerie companies know you’re passionate about looking good for your lover on February 14th, but they want you to pay handsomely to make him happy. Don’t fall for their sly trap. There are plenty of skimpy outfits you can buy for under $20. Imagine that! He’s happy, you’re happy, and your checkbook escapes unscathed. If you’re worried being frugal will mean you have to settle for less, calm down. The $20 lingerie I’m talking about is quality underwear you can be proud of. Spice up your Valentine’s Day with these trendy, sexy fashion pieces.
HEIDI CHIFFON LACE TRIM SHEER TEDDY from BOOHOO
For $14, you can have this silky soft pink slip. The Boohoo description of this chiffon lace product advertises it as sleepwear, but don’t let that fool you. Your partner won’t be thinking about sleeping when he sees you in this. The slip is built to tease rather than reveal, making it more versatile than some lingerie. This can be a comfy nightgown or a playful outfit. You get to choose!
EMMA LACE TRIANGLE IN VINTAGE PINK from ASOS
This is a two-piece outfit with easy-to-use buckles and subtle lace florals. It’s gentle, giving off a vintage vibe without feeling dull or old-fashioned. If you have bronze skin, the pink tint will blend in perfectly. ASOS has a knack for selling ultra-trendy pieces at reasonable prices. You can nab the panties from this outfit for $15. The bra goes over our price limit at $31, but if you think you’ll use it, go for the full ensemble. It’s still under $50, which is better than you’ll do in most places.
BLACK ROSE 2-PIECE CHEMISE PLUS-SIZE LINGERIE from AMI CLUBWEAR
It’s practically a full-fledged skirt and you can have it for $13.50. That’s a bargain! This top has everything you need for your Valentine’s Day evening. It’s a tease, it’s easy to wear, and you can even wear it comfortably around the house. If cooking dinner nude is a little too much for you, cook dinner in this. Hidden under the top but still part of the deal is a matching G-string. Does it get much better than this?
AERIE LONGLINE TRIANGLE BRALETTE from AMERICAN EAGLE
A bralette is a bra that thinks it’s a corset. This probably isn’t the most comfortable piece to wear on Valentine’s Day, but it sure is pretty. The fact that you can get all that lacework for $15 is genuinely exciting. Wear this if you like making an entrance. It might not be easy to take off, but it’s nice to feel pretty in the bedroom on February 14th.
PASTEASE PASTIES HOLOGRAM CROSSES from NASTY GAL
If you want to try on something new for Valentine’s Day, this is the way to do it. These $10 crosses are self-adhesive. Just peel off the back and stick them on for a very minimal Valentine’s look. You’re not going to be able to re-use these, so make sure it’s really the route you want to go before making the investment. Yet, if your partner like this sort of thing or has a fetish for holographic stuff, maybe you’ve hit the mother-load.
INTIMATES by FOREVER 21
The intimates line by Forever 21 has dozens of sexy lingerie options under $20. They come in all different styles too. You can find bodysuits, bras, panties, and bralettes on this site in both solid silk colors and lacy patterns. It’s tempting to stop this list here because the options are so impressive. I mean, some of these pieces only cost $8!
MICROFIBER THONG from H&M
For $4, you could be the owner of this decorative thong. It’s a pretty traditional piece with a nice balance of support and finesse. If your lover likes the tried and true, these will serve you well. You can get the lined gusset in white if you like it simple or red to add some extra pop.
TRIPLE STRAP SUSPENDER from ASOS
If you want to make him work a little, here’s an elaborate way to do it. This triple-strap piece looks incredibly sexy and it appears more complicated to unfasten than it is. In these, you can draw out your Valentine’s Day fun and feel sexy while you do it. Best of all, it will only cost you $20.
Time to stop lamenting the price of lingerie, ladies. If this is the kind of surprise you want to plan for your romantic day, there are plenty of reasonable options. Time to get shopping!
Craft Valentine’s Day Beauty Looks Inspired By Your Favorite Influencers
Whether you’re celebrating Valentine’s Day, Anti-Valentine’s Day, or you’re simply just going out with your girls, any night out should be an excuse to get dolled up and try out some flirty and daring new looks. We have gathered a list of some of our favorite makeup styles by some of your favorite social media influencers to wear this February 14. You’re guaranteed to be a showstopper during your night out with these colorful and glam Valentine’s Day makeup looks.
There’s something so sweet and romantic about a rose gold look for Valentine’s Day. Desi Perkins created this angelic look by pairing the Kathleenlights Dream St. Palette on the eyes and Atole gloss by Iluvsarahii, both being a collaboration with ColourPop.
If you’re opting for a more sultry look, then this one is for you. Carli Bybel used the Shaaanxo Remix Palette for the eyes, Fenty highlighter in Lightening Dust, Too Faced blush in the color Love Flush, and ColourPop eyeliner in white to make the eyes appear larger. To finish it off she went for a dark ombre lip using ColourPop’s Notion lipliner and Lyin King liquid lipstick.
If you’re staying away from the pinks and bright reds with your Valentine’s Day makeup, then this auburn tone is a nice alternative. Katy is using Dose of Colors eyeshadow palette in Sassy Sienna, Laura Geller’s blush in Sunswept, a dual finish highlight in Radiant Rose by Lancôme.
You could never go wrong with a strong red lip and a golden bronze on Valentine’s Day. To achieve Amra‘s look, use a palette with shimmering neutral-tones, and a highlight to keep you glowing all night long. Of course, don’t forget your favorite colored red lipstick!
Karen Sarahi Gonzalez
Ditch the smokey eye and amplify your look with the cut-crease eyeshadow technique. Start your cut crease from the middle of the eye lid to the outer corners into a “V” shape. Karen chose her transition colors from KathleenLights x Colourpop’s Dream St Palette. Pair your new eye look with a mauve blush and a nude colored lipstick to complete your look!
Nicole is giving us major barbie vibes, and all you need is a pop of pink! Nicole went light on her makeup look making the lips the center of attention. Use a matte neutral tone eyeshadow on the lid, eyeliner based on your preference and eye shape, gold glitter eyeshadow stick on the bottom set of lashes, a good layer of mascara, and of course the Anastasia Beverly Hills lipstick in Party Pink.
Pretty and minimalistic for those who don’t like caking on the makeup, you can opt for a more subtle look without going over the top. You can use neutral tones on the lid with a mauve color on the out er corners of the eye, a winged eyeliner, mascara, and your favorite light pink lipstick. For a rosy look, you can wear a light pink or peach toned blush.
Shayla is slaying these peachy vibes. If you can’t choose between doing a red lip or a nude, go for a peach tone instead. You get the boldness you want, yet it’s still slightly subtle to go along with any of your Valentine’s Day makeup looks. You can achieve Shayla’s look with a matte mauve and peach tone eyeshadow such as Too Faced’s Sweet Peach Eyeshadow Palette, Bobbi Brown’s liquid eyeliner, Huda Beauty’s Scarlett eyelashes, and Makeup Forever’s blush.
Nikkie De Jager
This warm, shimmery look is easy to recreate and perfect to enhance all eye colors. Nikkie is using Morphe’s 39A Palette for her orange-copper tone eyes, paired with a Smashbox red lip in Carat Stick that also has an orange undertone.
Gunmetal eyes and a nude lip color are all you need to pull off this soft glam Valentine’s Day makeup look. The gunmetal eyeshadow gives you the bold appearance you’re looking for while the nude lips, soft highlighter, and peachy blush give you the effortless glam you’re striving for.
Full on drama for the experienced makeup enthusiast. To achieve this heavy cut-crease plum and cranberry eye look, use Tarte’s Amazonian Clay Eyeshadow Palette. Find something with a flat edge that you can use to draw the outer line of the eyeshadow, shade the lid with a pink or cranberry tone eyeshadow and then fill the outer corners with a dark plum eyeshadow, and blend out. Then pack on a gold or rose tone metallic glitter on the lid and inner corner of eyes. Pair it with a dark burgundy lipstick, and mauve toned pink blush, and you’re ready to go on date night in your fully transformed look!

Cupcake Flower Bouquet
Say goodbye to sending her red roses at work, and get her a bouquet of cupcakes! We all know flowers are beautiful to look at, but we also know that she won’t water them and get much use out of it. Why not surprise her with a bouquet she can look at and eat too! You know that the money spent won’t go to waste and she’ll still get the satisfaction of having flowers delivered to her.
Check for a local Mr. Cupcakes near you and place an order in advance to customize the cupcakes to her favorite flowers. It will surely be a gift she will never forget.
Pizza, almost everyone’s favorite food, is now available in heart-shaped form at your local pizzerias during Valentine’s Day. If you don’t see one on the menu option, just simply call and ask for a custom order: they almost never say no. Just give them enough time in advance to create this delicious treat that will have her staring at you like those heart eyed emojis.
Valentine’s Day Donuts
Dunkin Donuts. Simple, sweet, and accessible; yet it’s always beautifully decorated. You could never go wrong with a box of heart shaped donuts and coffee to keep her morning going.
Heart-Shaped Cookie Cake
Share the love in a big way! This Chocolate Chip Cookie Cake by Great American Cookies can be as cute and cliche as you want it to be, but even better you can eat it too. This 12″ cake might be too big for her to take on, on her own. Cut it up, heat it up, and pair it with your favorite scoop of ice-cream, and you have yourself the most amazing Valentine’s Day dessert ever! To find a cookie cake maker near you and to place orders, visit the brand’s website.

Here’s What It’s Like To Visit The Egg House NYC Museum – Exclusive
How far are you willing to go for the sake of a one-of-a-kind Instagram photo? Are you excited by the idea of heading out on a big city… eggventure? If you’re looking for a fun, festive, and photo-friendly art exhibit to attend this spring, The Egg House NYC has got you covered. The colorful and quirky installation just opened on Chrystie Street in Manhattan, and the Richard Magazine team got an early look at the venue space.
Not only is the location bright and cheery, but it’s filled with interactive artwork and creatively re-imagined spaces. And food puns, our favorite. Below, we’re sharing a behind-the-scenes look at our eggciting day in New York City’s first-ever egg-themed pop-up.
First up, our team members Kristine and Crystal set off our 360° cameras inside the space, so you can see the pop-up from every angle. No yolks about it! Feel free to interact with the images below, zooming in on your favorite features, swiping to see more, and spinning the rooms to catch a different view.
We know what you’re thinking: where did the art team get the idea to open up an Egg House exhibit?
“As New Yorkers, travel has always been a luxury to us, so we wanted to create a space ourselves where people can enjoy a similar momentary escape from the city,” the artists share with Richard Magazine exclusively. “Eggs as the element was chosen because it’s one of the most universal food; everyone in each culture can relate to it. We recruited a team of curator, interior designers, graphic designers, technologists.”
As soon as the idea was hatched, it was an incredibly quick process of bringing the ideas to life. “We found a gallery space for rental in the lower east side of New York,” the team says. “After we received the keys, it took us less than 2 weeks to build it, with barely any sleep.”
It all paid off: the space is filled with kid-friendly ball pits (though we had to take a crack at it), an eggshell swing, fun quote walls, and positive energy. And it’s no accident that the space’s five rooms make for the dream Instagram #OOTD post.
“Guests’ social media posting is one of the keys in spreading the awareness and popularity of the space. They make very creative use of the installations and their smile on their face in those pictures are not only priceless but also contagious,” the artists tell us. “The installations have to be photographable as well as interactive, so that guests can not only play with the space, but also with themselves. [We want guests to have] an immersive [experience], foremost. We want people to forget about any unhappy thoughts as soon as they enter, and feel the positive energy of ‘Ellis the Egg,’ the main character of the show who had experienced a lot of difficulties and settled down in LES of New York and still remain hopeful.”
The Egg House NYC location is open at 195 Chrystie Street now through June 27. Tickets are available online for $18 a pop. But even if you’re not local, you can still eggspect to see the exhibit making the global rounds. “We definitely want to continue the story of Ellis the Egg and bring him to other cities. LA or Shanghai might be our next stop,” the creators share.

Vera Wang Bridal Unveils Spring 2020 Gown Collection
If you dream of wearing a wedding dress that is simultaneously all kinds of glamorous and romantic, but with an unexpected high-fashion twist, you will probably love the Vera Wang 2020 Bridal collection for spring. The designer label unveiled its newest designs during this April season of New York Bridal Fashion Week – and it’s a line full of French tulle skirts, macrame lace detailing, organza flowers, and breathtaking wisps of color.
The Spring 2020 season marks Vera Wang’s 30th anniversary in delivering the ethereal, statement-making wedding gowns that many fashion-forward brides-to-be envision themselves rocking on their big day.
“This season is about enchantment,” the designer told Harper’s Bazaar. “The dresses all have very different angles, which you cannot capture entirely in a [single photograph]. Each dress has different perspectives and volumes from every angle, and a deliberate play on asymmetry. It’s a more cubist, Picasso point of view, and about looking at [the clothes] from 360 degrees.”
“It’s a blend of silhouettes, fabrics, colors, flowers,” Wang added in the publication’s interview. “There’s a lot of design freedom in the randomness, but it’s deliberate randomness. A lot of the tints of the dresses are achieved through veiling and layering; we used veiling as [a method of] discovery, where you’re seeing the bodices through tulle… its more of an unveiling, like a blossom.”

The Blonds Tackles Good Vs. Evil with Daring Fall 2018 Collection at NYFW
If you were looking to see a red-hot runway show this New York Fashion Week, you simply must check out the latest presentation from The Blonds. Design duo Phillipe and David Blond were inspired by the constant conflict of devils and angels for their Fall 2018 collection, presented on February 13 – which resulted in some positively gorgeous catwalk creations.
“The primeval conflict of good versus evil as a driving force in art, literature and film is the inspiration for this collection,” David Blond shared in a press statement. “Renaissance-era frescoes, allegorical poems such as John Milton’s Paradise Lost and Dante’s The Divine Comedy, as well as Kenneth Anger’s 1972 film, Lucifer Rising, all served as distinct forms of inspiration.”
To add that unforgettable shine to their garments, The Blonds turned to their partners of four years – Preciosa – for dazzling crystal pieces. The brand’s expertise and glassmaking tradition date back to the sixteenth century – and their authentically crafted Bohemian crystals were perfect for this collection’s inspiration.
“We love working with Preciosa because it adds so much sparkle to our collection,” David Blond shared. “This season, we especially worked with various sizes of Siam, Volcano and their divine new coatings, Lava and Red Flame, which were carefully chosen to represent the element of fire from its ignition to its hottest point.”
Preciosa’s Head of Design, Tereza Šikulová added, “We never cease to be inspired by the depth of creative genius The Blonds deliver through their use of crystals on the runway, particularly this season with our new Crystal Net, which adds a whole new layer of sparkle to their designs.” We second that!

Urban Outfitters Debuts New Spring Pieces for Urban Renewal Line
Earth Day is officially on Sunday, April 22, 2018 – but it is always a good time to start thinking about the environment and ways to reduce, re-use, and recycle. One way to cut back on waste – and give your wardrobe a special custom edge while you’re at it – if to support clothing brands’ efforts to turn remnants of outdated duds into the latest, must-have fashions. That’s where the Urban Outfitters Urban Renewal program comes in.
The idea of making old styles new again has been part of the brand’s core identity and values since it was first founded in 1970. Did you know that the retailer was actually first created as a second-hand clothing, accessories, and home decor brand for college students?
Now, UO’s Urban Renewal collection consists of stocked vintage styles (with slight variations in size and color); redone pieces created using unsold “deadstock” or surplus materials; special one-of-a-kind pieces; standalone vintage pieces; and customized vintage redesigned by the UO team. In other words, no two pieces are exactly alike, so you get a one-of-a-kind garment while supporting a cause.
This season, there are a ton of new offerings in men’s and women’s sizing – and the brand’s online vintage collection will be mirrored in select stores. An even larger selection of Urban Outfitters stores across North America will also be hosting a spring series of UO Yard Sale events between April 19 and April 22, so shoppers can select their unique finds in person – just like going to a street full of thrift stores!
Click through the gallery below to see an assortment of items from Urban Outfitters’ latest Urban Renewal line.
You can now shop most of the items you see here and many more options for Spring 2018 on the brand’s website now.
