With her upcoming product launch, Kylie Jenner is fusing the boundaries between her popular makeup company Kylie Cosmetics with her skincare label, Kylie Skin. This week, the beauty guru is debuting her Kylie Skin Lip Scrub, a sugar-based treatment intended to prep your pout for the pretty glosses and daring Lip Kit shades the entire Kylie enterprise is founded upon. The timing is perfect, as the seasons are changing so quickly, we can barely tell if it’s summer or winter when it comes to our cracked and dehydrated skin!
“You’ll fall in love with this formula,” the brand shared on Instagram by way of an introductory announcement. “Sugar gently exfoliates while our luxe blend of hydrating ingredients leave lips soft, smooth and moisturized.”
According to the brand, those skin-loving ingredients include sucrose, shea butter, Vitamin E, meadowfoam, jojoba and grape seed oil extracts.
Like the Kylie Skin Lip Mask before it, this product is set to be housed in a small pink-capped jar container. This product promises to deliver “butter soft” and “the ultimate kissable lips,” so we’re eager to try out this new formula.
The Kylie Skin Lip Scrub is set to launch on May 15 at 9 AM PST, exclusively on the Kylie Skin website.

May 4, 2020 would have brought tons of fashion’s biggest trendsetters to New York City for the Metropolitan Museum of Art Costume Institute’s annual Met Gala. This year’s event was set to be sponsored by Louis Vuitton, along with co-chairs Nicolas Ghesquière,Lin-Manuel Miranda,Emma Stone,Meryl Streep, andAnna Wintour, and themed About Time: Fashion and Duration. But because the 2020 Met Gala has been postponed indefinitely due to the outbreak of COVID-19, the future of the red carpet affair remained uncertain.
To commemorate the occasion, we’re rounding up some of our favorite standout Met Gala styles from recent memory. Check them out below!
In 2019, actress Zendaya went all out with a digitized blue Tommy Hilfiger ball gown, with a Cinderella twist. Her stylist Law Roach acted the part of “fairy godbrother,” who illuminated the star’s enchanting gown with the turn of a wand and a bippity-boppity-boo!
There’s no doubt that Rihanna made one of the most memorable Met Gala appearances of all time. And somehow make it all look easy and natural. The singer – and co-host of the 2018 event – made her statement in a Maison Margiela Artisanal outfit designed for her by John Galliano.
Sisters Kylie Jenner and Kendall Jenner rocked coordinating feather ensembles for their walk down the 2019 Met Gala red carpet. Kylie’s purple net dress and Kendall’s fiery orange gown are both Donatella Versace.
Singer Ariana Grande debuted a stunning Sistine Chapel-inspired Vera Wang ball gown for her first Met Gala appearance in 2018, complete with a coordinating gauzy hair ribbon. The scene on her dress is from The Last Judgement.
We can’t wait until we get to see Met Gala fashions shine at the event again in the future!
Today, actress Denise Richards is celebrating the launch of her new skincare line, CB Me Beauty, created in partnership with Canavation Product Group. All of the debut products are based on the 49-year-old star’s personal go-to skin essentials.
The current launch features a pH neutral Probiotic Cleanser, Cream Oil Moisturizer, Melanin Moisturizer, Neck and Decollete Treatment, Advanced Eye Therapy, Nightly Retinol Serum, and more. The products use a combination of hemp oil and patented ingredients in order to deliver the intended skin-saving results — with further CBD innovations to be introduced.
“CB ME Beauty will soon feature CBD and other rare cannabinoids that Canavation produces or has available under an exclusive license agreement with Teewinot Life Sciences (Teewinot),” according to a brand release.
“I am delighted by the CB Me Line that we have created,” Denise shared in a press statement. “These are wonderful products and what I find most exciting is that there is a long-range plan to introduce new products that will constantly get better and better.”
“Denise has been a pleasure to work with,” added Bill Barlow, CEO of Canavation, in a statement. “She knows exactly what she wants each product to do and our team has been able to give that to her, all while making them unique products in the marketplace.”
